Nottowall Bass — 2025 Build

This custom Wal-style bass was built in collaboration between luthier Paul Harris and bassist Tim Skinner. Tim supplied the zebrawood plank, which Paul book matched and laminated to form the front and rear body wings, creating a mirrored grain pattern across both faces. The zebrawood top is set over wenge and maple layers, tying visually and tonally into the five-piece wenge/maple neck-through core. Every detail — from the EVO Gold small fret wire and custom aluminum-ring fret markers filled with glow-in-the-dark blue resin, to the Solarez UV-cured low-sheen finish — was hand-crafted for clarity, durability, and stage-ready performance.
