50 Foot Jesus formed on Canada Day 2018 as a backyard family-and-friends jam that turned into something much bigger. After a few lineup changes, we’ve grown into a tight six-piece band playing pubs, community events, and festival stages across the GTA.
Tim holds it all together on bass and serves as the band leader. His son Noah, who began as our drummer, now fronts the group as our lead vocalist. Alex, Noah’s best mate, delivers the blistering lead guitar work that defines our sound. Dan, Noah’s uncle, anchors the rhythm section with solid guitar grooves. Ieuan, my son, is now behind the drum kit keeping everything locked in, while I (Paul) add rhythm fills, ambient textures through the Roland GR-55, a bit of harmonica, and the occasional vocal line.
Our setlist stretches from The Tragically Hip to Weezer, Bryan Adams, and everything in between — a mix of rock classics, Canadian anthems, and songs that always get the crowd moving.
